Avtron AV56S

Avtron’s AV56S stainless steel heavy mill duty modular magnetic encoders are specifically designed for washdown and marine applications, fitting seamlessly onto a standard 4.5" motor flange. Additional THIN-LINE III models, ranging in size from 115mm to 8.5", are also available to accommodate various motor sizes.

These encoders boast straightforward installation, robust construction, and transparent diagnostics, effectively minimising downtime associated with encoder issues.

The magnetic sensors are fully encapsulated, ensuring resilience against dirt and liquids. There are no glass disks or optics to become clogged, and the absence of moving or wearing parts contributes to long-lasting durability.

The patented Wide-Gap™ rotors not only prevent sensor damage but also simplify the installation process while securely maintaining their position on the shaft.

The universal 5-24V design enables the use of longer cables and provides protection against wiring errors and surges.

Upon powering up an AV56S, the presence of a green light indicates that the digital self-tuning has optimally configured your AV56S, assuring correct installation.

If the AV56S encounters challenges in producing optimal signals, the light switches to red, activating the remote alarm contact. In the case of wiring errors, the LED changes to orange. However, the encoder continues to operate for as long as possible, allowing sufficient time to schedule maintenance.
